Meet the RGS Sisters…

Hi Ladies n’ Gents,

I had the privileged of interviewing two extremely talented, fashionable, n’ gorgeous entrepreneurs, the RGS Sisters.
Born in Shreveport, Louisiana the sisters stay busy own n’ maintaining a business all while being in school. These two are fabulous n’ take a peek at the interview below to see how great n’ motivational they are!

1. Tell us about RGS n’ what you do?

RGS The Company: Is a family owned company based out of Shreveport, La. We’re a small online boutique that specializes in eyewear and other accessories. We’ll soon be expanding to other items so keep your ears and eyes open for details!

RGS The Sisters: We were born and raised in Shreveport, La… Well kind of b/c for the first 9 yrs of my life and 7 yrs of Kim’s life our dad was in the ARMY! lol I, Keyondra (26) have my associates in Mass Comm and will be attending the Art Institute, Atlanta to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising! Kim (24) recently graduated with a BS of Psychology and will be attending Argosy Univ., Atlanta to obtain her MA of Counseling with a certificate in Marriage and Family Counseling. As you can see the both of us are unique in our own right, hence, our very different majors! We’re not only educated, but we love fashion and most things trendy, quirky, and classy. Which is how the Red Glasses Sisters theme came about.  Kim wanted Red Glasses and suggested that I step into the bad side and go from the normal black to Red… and this has been our staple ever since! Lol But I have to say in my opinion; the most important or fascinating thing about RGS is that we’ll be relocating to Atlanta, Ga in the spring of 2011!

2. What inspired you ladies to create RGS?

As I mentioned before the Red Glasses had a lot to do with the name of course. However, we must give props to our Hair Stylist, Celebrity Stylist Shereese Slate (Dallas, Tx) for giving us the encouragement and some ideas to jump-start what we have now! Those two elements along with the simple fact that we are sisters who love fashion and each other make RGS!

3. How do you balance owning your own company n’ going to school?

Since the spring term hasn’t started yet we don’t quite know how the balancing act will work! Our site launched during our semester breaks so we’ll be able to let you all know when we start in January!

4. Which RGS item n’ Shop.cmichellestyles.com item would look Chic together n’ why?

Great question! Because there are so many different combos that can be excellent together, we think the chic combo of the day would be your Coral Maze bracelet and our Gwendolyn frames! Can’t you just picture that bracelet and those frames with a hot printed sun dress, wedge heels, envelope clutch, and a vintage floppy hat?! The neutral tortoise shell print along with the very earthy colors in that bracelet compliment each other wonderfully!
