New York Fashion Week Day 1

Hi Ladies n’ Gents,

Ok so I am trying to organize my thoughts n’ wrap my head around my first fashion week experience! I have so much to share with you guys! I have had no time to sit down n’ edit but today is my day, so before I head out to finally see the city.

For this to be my first time going to NYFW n’ to be invited to shows, you have no idea how incredible I feel! I had no idea what to expect but NYFW went beyond anything I could have ever imagined. My first experience was amazing n’ I have many people to thank for that, I feel so blessed! I even made it on the local news…#Insane!

On the first day, I went to the BCBG Max Azria show n’ it was amazing!

I wore BCBG Blazer $71.00 n’ Skirt $91.00 from Macys, BCBG Red Pumps $40.00 from DSW, Red Kenneth Cole wallet $12.99 from TJmaxx, Tan Cami $4.99 from TJmaxx=Roughly $220.00

The collection was beautiful n’ emphasized sleek silhouettes with a androgynous feel, which is right up my alley! I love snapping pictures of the final walk, it is so amazing to me! N e who, I had no idea how to dress for fashion week n’ I found out anything goes! Be yourself! Let’s just say if you want a lot press be as unique as possible! LOL

While people are waiting for the shows to start there are many booths to entertain you, there was a maybelline booth, style booth, tresemme booth, n’ more!

So for those of you who have never been like me I hope this was a good synopsis for you! I chose not to apply for press credentials because I wanted my first experience to be all on my own! Plus I needed some kind of experience under my belt to have a better chance to actually gain press credentials. I plan on applying in August 2013, you must apply one month before NYFW begins (here).
