Vlog Rant, Transitioning Back To Naturally Curly Hair Tips n’ Bloopers!!!

Hi Ladies n’ Gents,

I just wanted to take the time to discuss with you all my frustrations with my hair. I have always been natural! However, I have very difficult hair, or at least I don’t know what to do with it at times. I am very excited about the new movement of woman becoming more natural n’ leaving the “creamy crack” alone…

So I guess I have 3c hair, which is tight little ringlets of curls. My hair is really uneven, but for years I have been afraid to cut it! It wasn’t because I was afraid of wearing short hair, it was because I wouldn’t know what to do with it, lol. Also, I would want my hair to grow back healthy n’ strong.

One thing I can say is while being in college, I have neglected my hair. I know I need to put in work to it, but I have not leading to a lot of breakage n’ split ends. I am ready to wear my hair in its natural state which is curly but I have some concerns with it. I know that the world is changing n’ accepting the more “Natural Woman” however, is big wild hair acceptable in a predominant “non understanding” workforce? Could I go to a job interview with this hair? I mean I know I have a lot to learn with natural hair, but I can not lie, our minds have been formed to accept, believe n’ conform to a certain way we are supposed to look.

However, many women are breaking that barrier n’ creating a new legacy. A new way that African American/Black women can n’ should be perceived in the workforce n’ in society. Honestly, that is my biggest concern, but is it worth not being who I want to be? Or having healthy hair?

I know this was kind of long but its on my heart! I hope some of you can relate, I would love your opinions…

*Besos*

Great Post:) I love the whole new movement of African American women going natural also. I’m in the current process of trying to play with new natural styles and find out what products work best with my hair.
